Q:

What are you doing about human trafficking and forced labor?
Patrick
Colorado Springs, CO

A:

We work with all of our suppliers across their supply chains to ensure that they treat employees with fairness, respect and dignity, and promote a work environment that is free of harassment, forced labor, corporal punishment or other forms of physical coercion.

Kellogg is focused on bettering livelihoods, ensuring ethical supply chains and improving the social and environmental practices in our cocoa growing regions.

Our Global Supplier Code of Conduct specifically states that suppliers around the world must treat employees with fairness, respect and dignity, and promote a work environment that is free of harassment, forced labor, corporal punishment or other forms of physical coercion. The Code also prohibits discrimination against women farmers and workers and forbids the use of involuntary labor and any child labor as defined and prohibited by International Labor Organization guidelines.
