Q:

When will colors be taken from flavored Mini-Wheats? We love Mini-Wheats, but we want variety without colors. We refuse to buy cereals with colors and we encourage our friends to avoid artificial colors.

A:

Already in North America, 75 percent of our cereals are made without artificial colors. Foods without artificial colors already on store shelves include the original varieties of Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran, Special K, Corn Flakes and Frosted Flakes, and Nutri-Grain Breakfast Biscuits, among others.

We are giving people more of what they want and need in their foods, and less of what they don’t – which is why we have also been working to remove artificial colors across our Kellogg’s branded cereals and Kellogg’s branded snack bars. As products are reformulated we will introduce them to consumers.

Our goal overall for these changes is to be completed by the end of 2018 but some formulations may take longer to complete than others. Ultimately we will not sacrifice the great taste and quality consumers expect from their favorite Kellogg's products.  We will pass along your wish to have artificial colors removed from Mini-Wheats.
