Is eating cereal and milk every morning really healthy?


The best way to start any day is with a fuel-filled breakfast! That’s why we’re always working hard to deliver cereals that give you more of what you want and need, less of what you don’t.

We believe in breakfast's dynamic duo: cereal and milk. The protein of milk and the goodness of grains come together to help start your day. A simple cereal and milk breakfast can be surprisingly nutritious, delivering fiber, calcium, B vitamins, vitamin D and protein. This delicious breakfast provides grains and protein; protein breaks down into smaller parts called amino acids which are the key to helping your body rebuild muscle tissue. The fiber in our cereals may assist in controlling appetite by making us feel fuller longer. Below is a list of foods that provide an “excellent source” of fiber, meaning they deliver at least 20% of the Daily Value, or 5 grams or more of fiber per serving. Because recipes may change, always check the ingredient label on the package you buy, as the package labeling will list the amount of fiber in that product.
