Food Belief #3: Responsibly Sourcing Our Grains

Because grains are at the heart of our breakfast foods, we seek the very best grains, and we believe those grains must be sustainably grown and responsibly sourced.

Our Director of Sustainability, Amy B., has traveled the world from Iowa to India to Bolivia helping educate communities about sustainable agriculture. But our commitments don’t stop there. In fact, we have committed to supporting 500,000 farmers with Climate Smart Agriculture, responsibly sourcing ten key ingredients by 2020 and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% across our supply chain by 2050.

Here, Amy explains how the work we do through all our commitments doesn’t just affect the farmers’ crop supply, but their families’ livelihoods.
